When Do We Collect Personal Data About You?
We may collect personal data about you when you interact with us in person, through correspondence, by phone, by email, by social media, or through our website; when you contact OAM directly using an email link or contact information provided on the website; when we collect personal information from legitimate sources such as technical conferences, trade organizations, industry memberships, OAM marketing partners, public sources, or social networks; and when collection is of legitimate interest not overridden by your privacy interests.
The redesigned OAM website does not require a contact form or calendar scheduling form for initial launch. If OAM later adds forms, downloads, newsletters, event registration, or scheduling tools, the information collected will be handled under this Privacy Policy and any additional notice provided with the feature.
Why Do We Collect and Use Personal Data?
We collect and use personal data mainly to conduct business development, direct sales, direct marketing, client relationship management, supplier and partner management, and recruitment activities. We may use your information to send communications about OAM services when requested or under legitimate interest; perform direct sales and business development; reply to incoming requests; provide information about OAM services and operate, evaluate, and improve our business; notify you of disruptions; conduct surveys; and process a job application.
Our Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
Consent. We may collect personal data based on your consent.
Contracts. We use personal information to fulfill our obligations and provide support related to purchases, contracts, and agreements with customers, partners, and suppliers.
Legitimate interest. We may use personal data if it is of legitimate interest and the privacy interests of data subjects do not override it. This is primarily related to our sales, marketing, business development, professional services support, and recruitment activities.
What Type of Personal Data Is Collected?
We may collect your name, phone number, title, physical address, email address, company name, and company contact information. We may also collect feedback, comments, and questions received in sales-related communication. From our website, we may collect IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, links clicked, and other actions taken. If you apply for a job, we collect the data you provide. OAM does not knowingly collect or process special categories of sensitive personal data.
How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Data?
We store personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, while considering our need to answer questions, resolve problems, comply with legal requirements, address legal claims, and maintain business safeguards. We may retain your personal data for a reasonable period after your last interaction with us.
Your Rights to Your Personal Data
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate or out-of-date data; request deletion when no longer necessary; withdraw consent; request data portability where technically feasible; request restriction of processing during a dispute; object to processing based on legitimate interest or direct marketing; and file a complaint with regulators or supervisory authorities. Questions about your privacy rights should be sent to privacy@oamtechnologies.com.
Third-Party Content and Links
The OAM website may contain links to websites maintained by others, including LinkedIn, Linktree, and other third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not reflect the privacy practices of those websites. OAM is not responsible for the privacy policies, practices, or content of websites other than the OAM website. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of websites you link to from here.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data directly from anyone under the age of thirteen (13) or knowingly allow such persons to use the website or register for our services. If you are under 13, please do not use this website or send any information about yourself to us.
Data Security
The OAM website should be protected using HTTPS/SSL, enabling encrypted communication between web server and browser. We exercise reasonable security measures consistent with industry standards to protect against unauthorized access, use, alteration, corruption, or disclosure of Personal Data, and restrict access to personnel who need it to operate our business. While we believe our practices are reasonable, we cannot guarantee that security or integrity will not be breached. We review our policies periodically.
Do We Share Your Data With Anyone?
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your Personal Data with third parties without your consent, except as described below.
Service providers working on our behalf: agents, subcontractors, professional advisors, and technology providers authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services.
Cloud processors and website services: hosting, analytics, email, CRM, file storage, and security services that process data on our instructions — for example website analytics (aggregate), email/business communication, CRM/contact management, cloud storage, and third-party profile/link services such as LinkedIn or Linktree when users choose to leave the OAM website. If analytics are used, they should collect only what is reasonably needed.
If required by law: we will disclose information if required by law or to protect OAM’s rights, and reserve the right to transfer information in a sale or transfer of business or assets.
Use of Subcontractors, Processors, and Sub-Processors
We may use subcontractors, processors, and sub-processors to process personal data on our behalf. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide services to us and are responsible for keeping it secure.
Cookie Policy
We may use cookies, web beacons, log files, or similar technologies (Website Navigational Information) to collect information as you navigate the website, such as browser type and language, IP address, and actions taken on the website. This is used to make the website work efficiently, understand usage, improve content and performance, and detect and prevent security threats. If the website uses analytics, embedded media, or third-party scripts, those services may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies.
AI-Enabled Website Content and Interactions
The OAM website may describe OAM’s AI, machine learning, Generative AI, agentic AI, architecture, and consulting capabilities. The public website does not use those descriptions to make automated decisions about visitors. If OAM later adds AI-enabled interactive features such as chat, document upload, search, or automated qualification, OAM will update this Privacy Policy or provide additional notice explaining what data is collected and how it is processed.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
OAM may change this Privacy Policy from time to time at its sole discretion. Amendments become effective when we publish the revised policy. If we revise it in a way that permits substantial changes in how we use or disclose your Personal Data, we will notify you by email (when available) or by posting a notice on our website. Please regularly check the website for the current Privacy Policy.
Questions, Concerns, or Comments
OAM welcomes your comments and questions regarding this Privacy Policy and the use of any Personal Data. Please send requests for additional information, data updates, access requests, and data erasure requests to the data controller below.
